Job Summary
D&D is seeking motivated individuals to join our Concrete Cutting & Coring team. This position is ideal for both experienced saw cutters and hardworking labourers looking to grow into a specialized trade.
The successful candidate will safely operate diamond cutting and coring equipment while supporting general labour activities on active construction sites. Team members are expected to continuously develop their skills through hands-on training and field experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate diamond core drills, wall saws, road saws, and wire saws
- Assist with jobsite setup, cutting operations and teardown
- Support general labour duties as required
- Participate actively in the company safety program
- Maintain and care for company equipment and vehicles
- Work collaboratively with field crews, supervisors, and office staff
- Complete required field documentation
- Travel to job sites and work out of town with overnight stays as required
Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Maintain current safety training and site requirements
- Work in compliance with OHSA and company safe work procedures
- Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings
- Properly use and maintain required PPE
Qualifications
Required
- Valid G driver’s licence
- Ability to perform heavy physical work
- Concrete cutting and coring experience
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to work variable hours and travel as required
Assets
- Construction industry experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Traffic control or small equipment experience
Work Conditions
- Outdoor or Indoor construction environment
- Heavy lifting required
- Day with rare night and weekend work

Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour
