Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker/Installer to join our construction and renovation team. This role involves crafting custom cabinets, reading detailed blueprints, and professionally installing cabinetry in residential and commercial spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, woodworking, and various construction trades, with the ability to interpret schematics and work efficiently with hand and power tools. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise cabinet fabrication and installation.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and finish cabinetry using hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery as needed.
- Install cabinets securely on-site, ensuring alignment, levelness, and proper fit within designated spaces.
- Perform related tasks such as concrete forming, masonry work, flooring installation, tile laying, siding, roofing, caulking, and general carpentry to support project completion.
- Assist with restoration projects involving cabinetry or woodwork repairs.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely throughout the job site.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople including plumbers, electricians, and masons to coordinate work flow.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
- Experience with woodworking, cabinetry assembly, and installation techniques.
- Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., saws, chisels), power tools (e.g., drills, sanders), CNC machinery, and caulking tools.
- Knowledge of construction painting, rebar installation, siding application, roofing basics, plumbing connections, electrical systems understanding is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various construction environments.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating processes is desirable.
- Handyman experience or background in restoration projects is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in measuring and fitting cabinetry components accurately. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of working independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality craftsmanship on every project.
Pay: $18.94-$30.00 per hour
