Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Shop Manager to oversee daily operations in our retail environment. Duties
- Supervise daily front shop operations to ensure smooth functioning and adherence to company policies.
- Manage and train staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Implement effective budgeting strategies to control costs and maximize profitability.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing for products.
- Handle payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for employees.
- Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Utilize phone etiquette when communicating with customers and vendors to foster strong relationships.
- Collaborate with upper management on strategic planning and operational improvements.
Experience
- Proven experience in retail management or store management roles is essential.
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage budgets effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate prices and make purchasing decisions that benefit the store's bottom line.
- Experience supervising staff, with a focus on team development and performance enhancement.
- Excellent phone etiquette is required for effective communication with customers and suppliers.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is preferred.
