Landscaper
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various landscaping tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of horticulture, landscape maintenance, and construction experience to ensure the creation and upkeep of beautiful, functional landscapes. The Landscaper will work with a variety of tools and equipment to deliver high-quality results that meet client expectations.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and fertilizing to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for land grading, planting, or construction projects
- Install irrigation systems and troubleshoot issues to ensure proper water distribution
- Use hand tools and power tools for planting, edging, and other landscaping tasks
- Lead construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds
- Maintain equipment through regular cleaning, inspection, and mechanical repairs as needed
- Implement horticultural practices including planting, fertilizing, pest control, and soil management
- Ensure safety procedures are followed during all landscaping activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Requirements
- Prior experience with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining landscape equipment and tools
- Experience with excavation machinery such as excavators is a plus
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and repair is desirable
- Construction experience involving outdoor projects is necessary
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Strong physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working on your feet throughout the day
- Basic understanding of landscape design principles is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license preferred for operating equipment or transporting materials

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
