Job Overview
We are seeking an Accounts Payable and Inventory Associate to join our organization in Mississauga. The ideal candidate should be well organized, detail oriented and highly motivated to work in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
. Assist in entering and processing invoices and payments.
. Verify and reconcile supplier statement of accounts, resolve discrepancies.
. Prepare payments to vendors by cheques, wires, credit cards based on agreed terms.
. Maintain accurate records of freight invoices, and other accounts payable activities.
. Research and answer vendor inquiries.
. Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable and inventory management.
. Perform daily or weekly physical counts of stock to ensure they align with computer-generated reports in the inventory management system.
. Process flaw sheet, reprint sheet to ensure quantities are correct.
. Process all Inventory Write-Offs before year end.
. Handle all other inventory responsibilities as required.
. Develop and maintain A/P filing systems.
. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
. Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
. 2+ years of accounts payable & inventory control experience.
. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel intermediate level, Outlook).
. Bilingualism: English and French, spoken and written preferred.
. Very good organizational and time-management skills.
. Ability to establish and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Pay: $36,837.22-$50,000.00 per year
