The Project Coordinator supports construction project managers and site teams by handling administrative, scheduling, documentation, and communication tasks throughout a project’s duration. They will ensure the project stays on projected timelines and support our Safety, Quality Control and general administrative departments.
*Projects are located in and around the Winnipeg area.*
Project support, documentation, and administration are the key pillars for this role. The role is office based with the possibility of occasional site visits.
Key Responsibilities are as follows:
Coordinate Project Documentation - 75%
- Support coordination of shop drawing reviews by organizing drawing lists within Procore, and assisting the Construction Supervisor in tracking review progress. Update drawings as revisions and clarifications are issued, ensuring all changes are properly linked in Procore.
- Assist the project team in managing subtrade partners, including handling requests for information (RFIs), shop drawings, change documentation, and billing-related items.
- Act as a liaison between office staff, field teams, engineers, and clients. Schedule meetings and site visits and follow up on outstanding items with trades and vendors.
- Provide support to Construction Supervisors with scheduling, including troubleshooting, schedule updates, and monitoring project progress against timelines.
- Keep project documentation current and well-organized, including drawings, plans, submittals, logs, purchase orders, and other project records.
- Upload and submit drawing packages to applicable municipal or civic authorities to support permit and approval processes.
- Coordinate and attend project meetings with internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors, including preparing agendas, recording minutes, and distributing follow-ups.
- Maintain awareness of key project milestones and financial deadlines, helping the team stay informed of progress, risks, and upcoming deliverables.
- Assist with the preparation and compilation of final project turnover documentation for delivery to the client upon completion.
Support Safety, Quality Control and Assurance - 25%:
- Support the project team in tracking and maintaining the quality plan by ensuring required inspections are completed on schedule and aligned with project phases. Identify on-site issues, scope deficiencies, and non-conformance items, and help coordinate corrective actions with field teams and subtrades.
- Monitor the progress of outstanding quality observations and deficiencies, assisting the Operations Manager in ensuring timely resolution and closeout. Maintain accurate records of inspections, quality reports, and related documentation to support project compliance and turnover requirements.
Job Requirements
- Applying with the intention of working a full time Project Coordination Role
- 1+ years of administrative or construction-related experience
- Attention to detail, self-motivated, and prioritizing efficiency.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawing diagrams is an asset.
- Preference will be given to candidates with Post-secondary degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, or Architectural Technology.

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
