About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Analyst / Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial planning, reporting, compliance, and process improvement while providing strategic financial advice to support organizational decision-making. This position is ideal for professionals who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and possess strong analytical and communication skills.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Develop, assess, and monitor financial processes and internal controls to ensure compliance with applicable policies, legislation, and accounting standards
Conduct financial reviews and analyses to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
Support financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, expenditure monitoring, and variance analysis
Research, interpret, and apply accounting standards to complex financial transactions and provide recommendations to ensure compliance and consistency
Analyze financial data and prepare reports that support evidence-based decision-making
Work with large datasets using advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis tools
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial guidance and build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization
Prepare clear, accurate, and comprehensive reports, presentations, and briefing materials for management
Communicate financial information and recommendations effectively to a variety of audiences
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes and controls
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
Must have 10+ years’ experience in Federal Public Sector
10+ years as a Senior Financial Specialist
Reliability clearance
English Essential

Rate: $40.00 to $80.00 an hour
