Accounts Receivable / Administrative Clerk for a temporary opportunity with our client in Markham, ON. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting both financial and administrative operations.
You will be responsible for handling patient inquiries, processing payments, and providing administrative support to the finance team. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Patient Support
- Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Respond to patient inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate team members when required.
- Review and respond to patient voicemail messages promptly and professionally.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Accounts Receivable & Payment Processing
- Process patient credit card payments using an online point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Support accounts receivable activities and administrative processes.
- Assist with payment tracking and documentation as required.
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy when handling financial transactions and records.
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to the Accounts Receivable and Finance teams.
- Complete ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and reporting activities.
- Support process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives where applicable.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance Administration, Customer Service, or a related role preferred.

Experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or medical setting is considered an asset.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including:

Experience with Sage and Kroll systems is considered an asset.

Comfortable working with financial information, payment systems, and data entry.
