Job description:
Provide social media content on a variety of platforms, including Facebook and Instagram that advocates safety and promotes SafetyNL’s mission and programming.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience or education in communications, social media, digital marketing, or a related field
- Current code of conduct and vulnerable sector check
- Strong understanding of social media trends, platform behaviour, and targeted marketing to a variety of audiences
- Demonstrable Photo and video editing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A portfolio demonstrating created social media content
About the position:
- Ability to work remotely and with minimal supervision
- Create and maintain digital campaigns focusing on a variety of advocacy issues and adhere to production standards utilizing a variety of media
- Assist with social media planning, scheduling, and engagement.
- Track the engagement outcomes of campaigns and adjust accordingly in the future
Schedule: Part-time hours, the expectation would be 5 to 6 hours per week.
Salary and benefits: as per collective agreement.
