About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craft, works well under pressure, and enjoys being part of a collaborative kitchen that delivers consistently high-quality dishes.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and organize ingredients for daily service, including vegetables, meats, and sauces
- Cook and assemble menu items according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines
- Ensure all food meets quality, presentation, and temperature standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service
- Support inventory management and restocking as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role (preferred)
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and best practices
- Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to consistency
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift kitchen equipment
- Valid Food Handler Certification (Food Safe, SafeCheck, or equivalent required)
- Secondary School education preferred
- English proficiency preferred
