Position Overview
Lambert Nemec Group has partnered with a respected and growing wealth management practice in Winnipeg to recruit a Client Services Associate who is passionate about financial services and eager to build a long-term career in the investment and insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
Investment & Insurance Administration
- Process investment and insurance transactions, including new account openings, transfers, contributions, withdrawals, and policy applications.
- Prepare and review documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate account maintenance activities, including beneficiary updates, KYC documentation, and client information changes.
- Monitor pending transactions and follow up with clients, carriers, and investment partners to ensure timely completion.
Client Relationship Support
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients regarding account inquiries, service requests, and administrative matters.
- Prepare client meeting packages, portfolio review materials, and supporting documentation.
- Assist Advisors in delivering a high-touch, concierge-style client experience.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records within CRM and administrative systems.
Practice Operations
- Support the day-to-day operations of a busy wealth management practice serving approximately 200 clients.
- Track outstanding action items and ensure timely follow-up on client commitments.
- Assist with ongoing business development initiatives, client communications, and operational projects.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
- Valid MFDA/CIRO Mutual Fund License, IIROC/CIRO Registered Representative (RR) License, and/or Life Insurance License.
- Candidates actively pursuing licensing and able to complete licensing requirements in the near term will also be considered.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a wealth management, investment, banking, insurance, or financial advisory support role.
- Experience processing investment transactions and supporting financial advisors.
- Strong understanding of financial products, compliance requirements, and client servicing standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
Preferred:
- Post-secondary education in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Experience working within a wealth management practice, investment dealer, or financial planning environment.
- Familiarity with investment administration systems and insurance processing platforms.
