With over 60 employees’, this owner-managed business delivers a quality product to our customer, and we are looking for an accounting technician to support our efforts.
We are seeking a detail oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, payable and receivable and ensuring accounting standards.

TASK/ RESPONSIBILITIES
· Prepare statistical and financial reports
· Prepare tax returns
· Reconcile bank and credit card statements
· Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently
· Prepare payroll and ensure timely payment of employees
· Ensure compliance of relevant trust regulations
· Maintain accurate and up to date financial records using accurate software
· Process accounts reconciliation (resolving discrepancies)
REQUIREMENTS
· 2 years as a bookkeeper
· Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Ability to perform account analysis and bank reconciliations
- This is an in person, full time position, must reside in or near Medicine Hat.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
