Job Title: Warehouse Cleaner – Overnight Shift (Unionized)
Location: Vaughan, ON (Large Distribution Centre & Warehouse)
Shift: Monday to Friday 3:-11:00pm
Wage: $20.65 per hour
Job Summary
Position Overview:
We are currently hiring reliable and detail-oriented Cleaners for a large distribution centre and warehouse in Vaughan. This is a unionized position offering steady hours in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties throughout the warehouse and distribution areas
- Cleaning of offices, lunchrooms, boardrooms
- Sweep, mop, and maintain floors
- Use of walk behind floor machine to clean warehouse floors
- Cleaning lockout areas, in between, behind and underneath machinery
- Clean washrooms, lunchrooms, offices, and common areas
- Empty garbage and recycling
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Wear required PPE at all times
Requirements:
- Steel-toed safety shoes are required (company provides a shoe allowance)
- PPE is mandatory (as per site and safety requirements)
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Previous cleaning or warehouse experience is an asset, but not required
