Herzig Eye Institute is a state-of-the-art facility specializing in cataract and refractive procedures in Ottawa, Canada. We are presently seeking an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of RN in our surgery centre.
The successful candidate must have a desire to help enrich the patient experience from the first point of contact, through the procedure itself and to the final post-operative examination. They must also have excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills / Aptitudes
- Must have valid Registered Nurse license.
- Sedation and/or post surgical recovery experience
- Customer service driven – focused on providing an exceptional patient experience
- Excellent written and communication skills required, English and French
- Previous experience working as a surgical nurse in ophthalmology an asset
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
