Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Rigistred Social Worker (RSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families by providing emotional support, resource coordination, and advocacy. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community, working closely with diverse populations, including children and individuals with disabilities. The role requires a strong commitment to client well-being, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex social systems.

Responsibilities
- Assess clients’ needs through interviews and evaluations to develop personalized care plans
- Provide counseling and emotional support to individuals and families facing various challenges
- Connect clients with community resources, healthcare services, and support programs
- Advocate for clients’ rights and assist with navigating social services systems
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and case records
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to stay current on best practices in social work
- Support clients with disabilities or children by developing tailored intervention strategies
Skills
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Experience working with children is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, patience, and professionalism
- Excellent organizational skills for managing case files and documentation
- Knowledge of social service resources, community programs, and relevant laws or regulations
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in social work practices
Pay: $45.00-$52.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in London, ON N6J 2M4
