Lab Instructor: KIN-3106L – Scientific Principles of Fitness and Conditioning

Description: Lab instructors are responsible for teaching and delivering labs to students as directed by the course instructor.
Duties and Responsibilities: Lab instructors are responsible for teaching labs, set up, clean up, preparing labs ahead of scheduled lab times, grading assignments, maintaining equipment, organizing equipment, tracking lab supply inventory, and other duties as assigned by the instructor. Lab instructors will be assisted by lab demonstrators and ensure that demonstrators are informed of lab procedures. Applicants must be available for all scheduled labs as assigned. Lab instructors are expected to perform many of these duties outside of scheduled lab times, including the lab exam.
Qualifications: Applicants must have a Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in the area of Kinesiology or related discipline. Applicants in their final year of study in Kinesiology or a related discipline with a minimum GPA of 3.0 will also be considered. Standard first aid and Level C CPR, while not required, are preferred. Previous experience is an asset.
Remuneration: $2,006.63 per lab section

KIN 3106L – 071: Thursday, 2:30 pm-5:30 pm
Start Date: September 10, 2026
End Date: December 21, 2026 (at the latest)
Number of Weeks: 9-12
