Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Sleep Apnea Clinic & Home Oxygen
Job Type: Full-time (With rotating on-call requirements)
Location: #203-8915 51 Ave NW Edmonton, Alberta
Salary/Compensation: $38.00-$44.00/hour + Company Vehicle
Hours: 8.0 hour days 5-days a week, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Typically working Monday to Friday. Applicants open to working Saturdays(still having 2-days off a week) is an asset.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our growing home healthcare team. In this dual-focus role, you will work both in our clinical space managing sleep apnea diagnostics and therapies, and out in the community providing essential home oxygen setups and assessments. You will act as a trusted clinical advisor, collaborating with physicians to transition patients smoothly onto life-changing therapeutic plans.

Core Responsibilities:
Sleep Apnea & CPAP Therapy
- Conduct full cardio-respiratory and sleep evaluations for new clinic clients.
- Completing Home Sleep Apnea Testing.
- Initiate Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) therapies.
- Educate patients on pathophysiology of Sleep Apnea, and how PAP therapy’s treat Sleep Apnea.
- Monitor patient compliance databases and perform proactive follow-up care to optimize therapy comfort.
Home Oxygen & Respiratory Support
- Facilitating Home Oxygen discharges and equipment setups.
- Complete home oxygen assessments and setting up optimal home oxygen therapy.
- Evaluate patient homes for environmental hazards, ensuring safe usage of oxygen cylinders and concentrators.
- Participate in a shared, predictable on-call rotation to support emergency patient needs.
Clinical Collaboration & Administration
- Liaise directly with referring respirologists, family physicians, and community care teams.
- Manage detailed funding management through AADL, NIHB, WCB, or private insurers.
- Willingness to balance optimal therapy delivery and valuing your time and services to patients.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Current registration with CRTA(College of Respiratory Therapist of Alberta) and CSRT(Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapy).
- Valid driver’s license
- Provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Speaks fluent English
- Eligible to work in Canada
