Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and exercise for our clients' dogs while ensuring their safety and well-being. This position is perfect for individuals who love animals and enjoy spending time outdoors.
Duties
- Walk dogs in various weather conditions, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and mental stimulation.
- Follow specific instructions from pet owners regarding walking routes, feeding schedules, and any special needs or considerations for each dog.
- Maintain a safe environment for the dogs by being aware of surroundings and managing interactions with other pets and people.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their dog's behavior and any concerns that may arise during walks.
- Clean up after dogs during walks to maintain a clean environment.
- Keep accurate records of each walk, including duration, distance, and any notable behaviors or incidents.
Experience
- Previous experience in dog walking or pet care is preferred but not required; a genuine love for animals is essential.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their needs.
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments confidently.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while following instructions closely.
