We are searching for a Service Technician to join our expanding Delta Irrigation team
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with customers to provide technical support, guidance and
- training on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Skillfully wire both new and used pivots and corners according to established standards.
- Install cutting-edge technology onto pivot systems, ensuring precision and functionality.
- Cultivate and nurture valuable customer relationships, contributing to satisfaction and loyalty.
- Embrace flexibility by being available for extended work hours, when required, during peak seasons.
- Keep detailed records of service activities, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
- Assist in the design and implementation of irrigation system upgrades and improvements.
- Communicate effectively with the service manager and team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operations.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in irrigation technology.
- Follow and promote safe work practices.
What you bring:
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a proven ability to work independently.
- Prior electrical experience is a must.
- Proficient understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Experience with repairs, service, and field work.
- Excellent customer service communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clear driver’s abstract
