As we continue to expand, we are seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice-President, Finance and Administration to join our executive leadership team.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the President, the Vice-President, Finance and Administration (VPFA) plays a critical leadership role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and overseeing key administrative functions. This executive will act as a trusted business partner to the President and senior leadership, ensuring financial discipline, operational efficiency, and scalable systems to support growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Financial Leadership-
Partner with the President and Executive Team to define and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives.

Provide leadership on financial planning, forecasting, cash flow management, and capital allocation.

Deliver insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Financial Management & Compliance-
Oversee accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and performance monitoring.

Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies.

Lead annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and advisors.

Manage treasury functions, including cash flow, working capital, and foreign exchange exposure.

Ensure full compliance with all Canadian tax laws and relevant financial regulations.
Risk Management & Governance-
Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and regulatory risks.

Establish and maintain robust internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Support governance requirements, including Board and committee reporting as applicable.
Administration & Operations-
Oversee all aspects of finance and administration such as Accounts payable, Billing, Accounts receivable, Collection, Payroll.

Oversee contracts review (scope may vary).

Drive process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and scalability.
People Leadership-
Lead, develop, and mentor high-performing finance and administrative teams.

Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Support talent development and succession planning within the function.
Qualifications & Experience-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or Master’s degree an asset).

CPA or equivalent professional accounting designation strongly preferred.

Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance, including senior leadership roles.

Proven experience in a private-sector environment, ideally within a growth-oriented organization.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and regulatory requirements.

Strong knowledge of tax compliance.

Experience overseeing administrative or shared services functions is an asset.
