We are looking for passionate, responsible, and creative Summer Camp Teachers / Camp Instructors to join our summer camp program for children aged 5–10.
Our camp combines play-based learning, Project-Based Learning, Social-Emotional Learning, creative activities, teamwork, and hands-on projects. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young learners, can create a positive and engaging learning environment, and is open to innovative teaching approaches.
This role is suitable for teachers, education students, camp instructors, tutors, ECE candidates, OCT teachers, or anyone with strong experience working with children.

### Key Responsibilities
* Plan, lead, and support engaging camp activities for children aged 5–10
* Deliver hands-on, interactive, and project-based learning activities based on weekly camp themes
* Create a positive, safe, inclusive, and fun camp environment
* Guide children through creative projects, group activities, discussions, and presentations
* Support students’ social, emotional, communication, and teamwork development
* Supervise children during activities, indoor play, transitions, snack/lunch time, and breaks
* Help with classroom setup, clean-up, materials preparation, and daily routines
* Use positive classroom management strategies to keep children engaged and safe
* Communicate with the camp coordinator regarding children’s needs, behavior, or safety concerns
* Collaborate with the teaching team to improve camp quality and program delivery
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred
* Previous experience working with children aged 5–10 is preferred, such as teaching, tutoring, camps, childcare, after-school programs, volunteering, or similar settings. University or college students in Education, ECE, Child Development, Arts, STEM, or related fields are welcome to apply.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Patient, energetic, reliable, and responsible personality
* Ability to engage, motivate, and guide young learners
* Comfortable leading small-group or whole-group activities
* Must enjoy working in a creative, active, and child-centered environment

### Assets — Preferred but Not Required
* Ontario Certified Teacher — OCT certification
* Early Childhood Education — ECE background
* First Aid & CPR certification
* Experience in Project-Based Learning, inquiry-based learning, student-centered learning, arts, STEM, language learning, or creative education
* Camp experience or experience leading children’s activities
