Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Mechanics Helper to join our maintenance team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mechanical systems and equipment repair. The ideal candidate will assist experienced mechanics in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery, ensuring smooth operations across our facility. Duties
- Assist mechanics with routine maintenance and repairs of machinery and equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical components
- Support in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing troubleshooting tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and procedures during all maintenance activities
- Prepare parts and tools needed for repairs under supervision
- Observe and learn from experienced technicians to develop mechanical skills
Experience
- Prior experience is not required but is a plus; relevant exposure to mechanical systems or technical training is beneficial
- Basic knowledge of mechanical principles and components preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in maintenance work is advantageous
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the maintenance field
- Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude are essential for this role
Pay: $26.00-$34.00 per hour
