THE CLINICA is looking for an experienced Aesthetic Nurse (RN/RPN) to join our team on a part-time or independent contractor basis. We are looking for someone who is confident in their clinical skills, has a strong understanding of facial aesthetics, and takes a thoughtful, client-focused approach to treatment.
Previous hands-on medical aesthetics experience is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aesthetic consultations and develop appropriate treatment plans based on individual client goals and clinical assessment.
- Administer injectable treatments within professional scope of practice and clinic protocols, including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, skin boosters, and other approved injectable treatments.
- Provide safe, precise treatments with a strong understanding of facial anatomy, injection techniques, product selection, and complication management.
- Educate clients on treatment expectations, potential risks, pre-care, and post-care.
- Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation, consent forms, treatment records, and before-and-after photography.
- Conduct appropriate client follow-ups and address post-treatment concerns professionally.
- Follow all infection prevention, safety, regulatory, and clinic protocols.
- Work collaboratively with the clinic's medical team, aestheticians, consultants, and management.
- Maintain current knowledge of aesthetic medicine, products, techniques, and industry best practices.
- Deliver a high standard of client care while building strong, long-term client relationships.
Requirements
- Active RN or RPN registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Previous professional experience performing medical aesthetic treatments is required.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with cosmetic injectables, particularly neuromodulators and dermal fillers.
- Strong knowledge of facial anatomy, injection safety, contraindications, and management of potential complications.
- Current professional liability insurance and required certifications.
- Strong consultation, communication, and client-care skills.
- Professional, reliable, detail-oriented, and confident working independently.
- Comfortable working within established medical directives, policies, and clinical protocols.
- Ability to provide a portfolio or examples of previous aesthetic work is preferred.
