About Chris' Place
Chris' Place is a newly established private mental health practice in Edmonton, located just south of Capilano. We are creating a professional, welcoming clinical environment where clients can access high-quality mental health services and clinicians can build a meaningful and sustainable practice.
We are looking for a Registered Psychologist to join our growing clinical team.
This is an opportunity for a psychologist who values clinical autonomy, flexibility, professional support and the ability to develop a practice around their own areas of expertise.
Whether you are establishing your private practice, expanding an existing caseload, or looking for additional clinical hours, we are open to discussing an arrangement that works for you.
What We Offer

The Role
The psychologist will provide high-quality psychological services within their professional scope of practice.
Depending on your qualifications, training and interests, your practice may include:
- Individual psychotherapy
- Psychological assessments
- Clinical consultations
- Treatment planning
- Risk assessments
- Evidence-based psychological interventions
- Group therapy
- Psychoeducation
- Clinical documentation
- Collaboration with other healthcare and mental health professionals
We welcome clinicians with different therapeutic approaches, specialties and professional backgrounds.
Areas of Clinical Experience
Experience in any of the following areas is an asset:
- Anxiety and depression
- Trauma and PTSD
- Addiction and substance use
- Stress and burnout
- Grief and loss
- Relationship concerns
- Anger and emotional regulation
- Life transitions
- Workplace and occupational concerns
- Psychological assessment
- Other areas of psychological practice
We are also interested in clinicians with specialized training or expertise that could complement and expand the services available at the practice.
QualificationsRequired
- Registered Psychologist or Registered Provisional Psychologist in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP)
- Appropriate professional liability insurance
- Ability to practise within your professional scope and competence
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality and evidence-based practice
Preferred
- Experience in private practice or a clinical setting
- Experience working with adult clients
- Psychological assessment experience
- Experience with evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Experience providing group therapy
- Specialized clinical training or certification

Compensation
$130–$170 per clinical hour
