Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran (TSX:ELD) is seeking a Miner 2- Construction Miner to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working a 14/14 rotation.

Job Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment including boom trucks, scissor decks, LHDs, backhoes, and zoom booms.

Transport materials such as shotcrete, concrete, and pipe safely and efficiently.

Prepare work areas including clearing, grading, leveling, and trenching.

Support demolition activities and complete site cleanup.

Inspect equipment daily and perform basic maintenance checks.

Identify and report mechanical or safety issues.

Follow all site safety procedures and regulatory requirements.

Read and interpret construction drawings and work plans.

Complete work to project specifications and quality standards.

Coordinate tasks with supervisors and crew members.

Communicate progress, delays, and issues clearly.

Adapt to changing site conditions and priorities.

Manage time effectively to meet project schedules.
Job Qualifications and Skills:
-
Minimum Grade 12 diploma or GED.
-
Minimum of 4 years experience in an Underground Mine Environment.

Several years of experience in construction, preferably in mining or heavy industrial construction.

Ability to obtain a Blasting certification or license, in accordance with local and national regulations.

Knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and best practices.

Proficiency in operating construction equipment and machinery.

Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Commitment to safety and the ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.
