Full Job Description
Bluewater Optometry, is seeking an exceptional Clinic Manager to lead our team and deliver outstanding patient care while driving operational excellence.
This is a full-time leadership position, working approximately 40 hours per week. The clinic operates Monday through Friday.
As our Office Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the clinic by leading your team, creating an exceptional patient experience, achieving business goals, and fostering a positive, collaborative workplace culture. You'll work closely with your Regional Manager and Head Office support teams while enjoying the autonomy to lead your clinic like your own business.

What You'll Do
Lead the day-to-day operations of Bluewater Optometry, ensuring exceptional patient experiences and efficient clinic performance.
Manager and develop a high-performing team focused on delivering outstanding service.
Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative workplace culture that reflects the values of Doctors Vision Group.
Work closely with your Regional Manager to achieve operational, financial, and patient care objectives.
Monitor clinic performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales, labour, patient satisfaction, scheduling efficiency, and operational excellence.
Identify opportunities to improve clinic workflows, patient experience, productivity, and profitability.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, privacy legislation, and regulatory requirements.
Manage staffing schedules, labour budgets, inventory levels, and clinic resources effectively.
Support the implementation of new initiatives, technologies, and best practices across the organization.
Build strong relationships with doctors, patients, and team members while promoting teamwork and open communication.
Address patient concerns professionally and ensure every patient receives exceptional care from arrival through checkout.
Collaborate with Head Office departments including Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, IT, and Training to support clinic success.
Champion continuous improvement and help create an environment where employees can grow and thrive.
Perform other leadership responsibilities as required to support clinic operations.
What You'll Bring
Previous leadership or management experience.
Previous experience leading teams in healthcare, retail, hospitality, or other customer-focused environments.
Strong understanding of business operations, financial performance, and team leadership.
Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Experience in optometry, optical dispensing, medical clinics, or healthcare is considered an asset but is not required.
