Coating Line Production Worker

The Coating Line Production Worker will work as part of a team on a PVC Extrusion Machine Line producing PVC coated industrial fabrics.

Responsibilities

· Work safely and to promote safe work practices.

· Work as part of a team environment or with minimal supervision.

· Ability to follow inspection and quality requirements to ISO 9001 Standards, including

documentation and maintaining records.

· Loading and unloading materials into hoppers, stands, discharge units, to support

the extrusion operations.

· Assemble, install and remove PVC dies and rolls.

· Adhere to maintenance requirements and care and respect of equipment.

· Maintain high quality, safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Grade 12/GED

· Minimum of two years’ experience in manufacturing or equipment operation.

· Possess good to above average mechanical aptitude.

· Forklift training and small tool operation experience would be an asset.

· Will need to have or obtain WHMIS training for safe handling of raw materials and

ingredients.

· Good problem solving and decision-making skills.

· Mathematical skills, analytical abilities and organizational skills.

Working Conditions

· This position works 12 hour shifts (averaging 160 hours over 4 weeks).

· Standing for extended periods of time.

· Lifting weight up to 50 lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
