Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Cook a variety of menu items with precision, speed, and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure food safety and sanitation compliance
- Assist in food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste and maximize freshness
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by efficiently executing meal preparation tasks
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper use of gloves, hair restraints, and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with servers and front-of-house staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent service experiences
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food handling practices, and kitchen safety standards
- Experience with Vietnamese, Thai or Asian cuisine is an asset but bot required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness, organization, and quality control
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and proactive approach to tasks
- Familiarity with restaurant operations or the food industry is a plus but not mandatory
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
