Lakeview Church is seeking an Early-Years Ministry Coordinator to oversee all Sunday morning nursery, toddler and preschool programs. This person will work in tandem with our Elementary Ministry Coordinator to organize and facilitate all Lakeview Kids Ministries. We are looking for someone who can combine a passion for children with the leadership capacity to coordinate and organize a large team of volunteers. At 20 hours per week, this part time position allows for a high level of flexibility and adaptability.

Position Terms: Part Time Contract (one year)
Expected Hours of Work: 20 hours per week
Preferred Education and Job Related Experience Requirements:
- Bible College degree or Bachelor of Education.
- Experience leading a kids ministry, developing leaders, and providing pastoral care.
Minimum Education and Job Related Exprerience:
- High School Diploma
- Experience in kids ministry.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Plannning
- Develop creative, age-appropriate program plans that promote spiritual, social, and emotional development.
- Schedule and coordinate volunteers.
- Communicate program and curriculum logistics to volunteers.
- Prepare curriculum and program materials.
Program Facilitation
- Point leadership for nursery, toddler, and pre-school programs.
- Oversight of volunteer teams.
- Nurture relationships among children.
- Provide age-appropriate learning environments.
- Ensure all programming is in compliance with Plan to Protect.
- Support Family Formations Pastor with season family events.
Leader Development
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers.
- Invest relationally in the lives of volunteers.
- Provide pastoral care and support to volunteers.
