Job Overview: We are seeking a Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver to join our team. This position involves managing warehouse operations and delivering product to customers. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for order picking, forklift operation, and ensuring efficient, accurate and safe shipping and receiving processes.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the warehouse management system to accurately track inventory and manage orders
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts to load, unload, and move batteries
- Pick orders according to customer specifications and package them for shipment
- Build pallets and secure them for safe transportation
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including inspecting incoming shipments and verifying documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed
Qualifications:
- Ideally, a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a wholesale distribution environment.
- Must be computer literate and knowledge of any ERP system would be an asset.
- High level of commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and coworkers
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment.
- Highly organized in prioritizing work and multi-tasking.
- Strong problem solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Battery and solar experience would be an asset.
