Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Team Members to join our dynamic food service team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment. Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items in accordance with company standards and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash register transactions accurately using POS systems
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with sanitation standards
- Assist in food delivery to tables and support other team members during busy periods
- Follow all food safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth
- Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
