The client is looking for a Senior Database Developer with strong programming experience in Java or Python and solid RDBMS/SQL expertise to join our Securities Reference Data team within a leading financial services organization.
Required Skills
- 5–7 years of IT experience (Financial Services/Wealth Management preferred)
- Strong programming experience in Java or Python
- Solid knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and Database fundamentals
- Linux environment experience
- Experience using GitHub Copilot or other AI coding assistants
- JSON & XML Schemas
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Strong communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams

- Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate
- REST APIs & Microservices
- MongoDB
- Shell/Python scripting
