Your role and responsibilities
Perform equipment setups (clearing, disassembly, cleaning of equipment and rooms, reassembly, etc.);
Ensure the efficiency of the production room;
Report causes of inefficiencies and propose improvement solutions;
Serve as the main contact in the production room;
Operate equipment (start-up, shutdown, filling equipment, manual mixing, packaging finished products, stacking boxes on pallets, etc.);
Perform product packaging, rework, and any other required manual tasks;
Perform cleaning duties;
Ensure proper organization of the production room to work efficiently and in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices);
Meet efficiency and productivity standards;
Complete production records and any other required documentation;
Maintain product quality;
Follow all procedures in place (quality, health & safety, etc.);
Participate in training and mentoring of new employees;
Contribute to continuous improvement projects;
Perform any other related tasks as required.
Requirements
Relevant experience in pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, manufacturing, aerospace, or similar industries;
High school diploma (Secondary V) completed;
Mechanical skills.
Assets
College diploma (AEC) in pharmaceutical production;
Experience in tablet compression or encapsulation;
Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Skills
Team player, autonomous, responsible, decision-making ability, initiative, rigor;
Basic math skills (ratios, rounding);
Mechanical aptitude.
Work schedule
Training always on the day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Evening shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:15 p.m.
Night shift: Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.
