POSITION OVERVIEW:
First and foremost, Guest Services is responsible for creating a unique and amazing guest experience. We are after someone who embodies the true meaning of guest relations and is passionate about hospitality and tourism.
The main duties of a Guest Services Agent are to perform all front desk related functions including but not limited to checking guests in and out, answering and directing phone calls, providing dinner and activity recommendations, making reservations for dinner and activities, and giving directions while engaging guests to provide a memorable experience. They are also tasked with handling any guest issues, making decisions within scope of authority, and coordinating the functions of the front desk to ensure the smooth operation of Canmore Premier and the Copperstone Resort.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Checking guests in and out.
· Daily key management.
· Providing directions and recommendations.
· Responding to guest requests and guest issues and find solutions
· Responding to owner requests, emails and issues that arise
· Entering reservations from walk ins, direct calls and online booking agents.
· Responding to quotes and inquiries from extranets and our direct websites.
· Concierge duties such as making dinner reservations and booking activities.
· Taking payments for deposits and upcoming arrivals according to our policies.
· Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments. Example: Contacting housekeeping, maintenance and house managers for any guest needs or issues and ensuring they are completed. And ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work.
· Dealing with guest issues & complaints with scope of authority.
· Resolve work-related problems, guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to the management and prepare and submit progress and other reports.
· Submitting balanced cash outs for any cash received during the shift.
· Keeping the front desk area clean and organized.
· Monitor the hot tub for safe use and compliance with the rules and regulations
· Sanitizing of the Front Desk, Lobby, Hot Tub, and common area sanitizing as required.
· Opening and closing duties.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Extremely Customer Service oriented.
· Problem Solving Skills
· Previous front desk or customer work service experience required.
· Strong communication & organizational skills.
· Works well in a team-based environment.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
