Fuel Dispatcher – Kamloops, BC
Pilot Petroleum is a growing, customer-focused fuel and lubricant supplier serving commercial, industrial, and retail customers throughout British Columbia. We are looking for an organized, motivated Fuel Dispatcher to join our operations team in Kamloops, BC.
This is a full-time position working four days per week (Friday through Monday), offering an excellent work-life balance while playing a critical role in keeping our customers supplied safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch fuel deliveries to customers throughout the service area.
- Schedule drivers and equipment to maximize efficiency while maintaining exceptional customer service.
- Monitor delivery progress and respond quickly to schedule changes, delays, or customer requests.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal departments.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and delivery documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation coordination is required.
- Experience in the petroleum, fuel, or trucking industry is highly preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including the ability to learn and use dispatch, routing, and inventory software efficiently.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- Customer-focused with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
