We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components for a variety of manufacturing and system design projects. Duties
- Design and develop electrical systems, schematics, and PCB layouts using CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
- Utilize FPGA programming and firmware development to create reliable digital solutions for complex applications.
- Conduct system modeling and simulation using MATLAB, ANSYS, and other engineering software to optimize performance.
- Implement signal processing algorithms and develop embedded firmware in C++, Python, Perl, and scripting languages for various hardware platforms.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical components with mechanical systems, ensuring seamless system design.
- Troubleshoot and debug electrical hardware and firmware issues during development and testing phases.
- Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other manufacturing automation equipment to improve process efficiency.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical reports for manufacturing and system deployment.
- Support manufacturing teams by providing technical expertise during product assembly, testing, and validation processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proven experience with FPGA design, signal processing, system design, and electrical engineering principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks; experience with Revit is preferred for integrated system modeling.
- Strong programming skills in C++, Python, Perl, scripting languages; experience with firmware development is essential.
- Hands-on experience with ANSYS for simulation; familiarity with MATLAB for data analysis and modeling.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical expertise to facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in manufacturing environments.
- Ability to read and create schematics; familiarity with CAD tools for electrical design.
- Knowledge of microcontrollers such as ARM-based systems; experience with debugging hardware/software issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on debugging complex electronic systems.

Pay: $58,000.00-$89,000.00 per year
