Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Mix drinks according to recipes and customer preferences, maintaining proper portion control and presentation standards.
- Cook and assemble food items such as appetizers, snacks, and small plates with precision and care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and kitchen station to meet health and safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS, process payments, and provide receipts.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any special requests or concerns promptly.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service for both food and beverages while adhering to food safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for cashiering and order processing.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices, handling procedures, and sanitation standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, measuring ingredients, and managing orders accurately.
- Experience in bartending or serving roles is a plus; certification in responsible alcohol service is advantageous.
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours effectively.
