Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Full Time Baker to join our New COBS Bread Location in Orillia. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, food preparation, and creating visually appealing baked goods. This role offers an opportunity for growth in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality products. We have exceeded expectations with our opening and need to add extra support for our team.
Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods including bread, pastries, and scones.
- Follow recipes and portion controls accurately to maintain product consistency
- Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area according to health regulations
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring, and assembling ingredients.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bakery or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food handling and safety standards within the food industry is essential
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations in a fast-paced setting is beneficial
- Comfortable with early morning shift 4am and 5am start times and reliable.
Rate negotiable with experience
Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
