Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with Trade Related tools and equipment. Utilizing hands-on experience with plumbing, welding, boilers, and related appliance repair. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure optimal climate control and system efficiency.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in accordance with industry standards and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance on heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Conduct inspections of mechanical systems, including boilers and commercial appliances, to identify issues proactively.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately and implement effective solutions.
- Execute plumbing and welding tasks as needed for system repairs or upgrades.
- Read and interpret construction plans and schematics to facilitate installation or repairs.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts used, and system performance for documentation purposes.
- To be able to perform these duties within a fluid service schedule
Skills
- Proven experience in HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in plumbing, welding, boilers, and appliance repair.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with construction projects or related mechanical work is preferred.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for various mechanical systems.
- Mechanic experience that includes troubleshooting complex equipment issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Available to work some evenings and weekends as required
- Available to work out of town when needed
- Previous service experience would be an asset
