We are currently seeking a dependable and organized Yard Labourer/HEO to
join our Saskatoon team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient movement
of materials, tools, equipment, and supplies that support our field operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks using forklift, loaders, telehandler and other material handling equipment.
- Organize, store and move materials, equipment and supplies throughout the
yard.
- Prepare and stage materials for outgoing deliveries and shipments.
- Keep the yard clean, organized and free of safety hazards.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, perform basic maintenance, as
required and clean equipment.
- Secure loads and ensure materials are stored safely and properly to prevent
damage.
- Assist mechanics, shop staff and field crews as required.
- Direct delivery drivers and customers to the appropriate loading/unloading zones.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a yard, shop, construction, or industrial environment
- Valid driver's licence (Class 5 or higher class considered an asset)
- Ability to lift 30 kgs and work in a physically active environment.
- Inventory software experience would be an asset.
additional responsibilities may include:
- Preparing drilling supplies and tooling for field crews
- Loading and unloading drill rods, casing, pumps, and support equipment
- Inspecting and maintaining drilling equipment and consumables
- Assisting with mobilization and demobilization of drilling projects
- Coordinating yard logistics to ensure field crews have the equipment they need
on schedule.
