Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated.NET Consultant to join our dynamic development team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative application development projects, leveraging a broad range of technologies including C#, ASP.NET, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in web applications, APIs, and agile methodologies. Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain robust web applications using.NET frameworks and C#
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to support scalable front-end and back-end integrations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
- Optimize application performance through code refactoring and database tuning
- Work with SQL Server, MySQL, and other databases to manage data storage and retrieval efficiently
- Utilize version control tools such as GitHub, SVN, and Git for source code management
- Participate in Agile development cycles including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Integrate cloud services like AWS and Azure for deployment and scalability purposes
- Contribute to front-end development using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related technologies
- Maintain knowledge of Linux environments for deployment and troubleshooting as needed
- Write clean, well-documented code adhering to best practices in software engineering
Qualifications
- Proven experience in application development with.NET technologies (.NET Core or Framework)
- Strong proficiency in C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, or VBA is a plus
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or other relational databases
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deployment and services integration
- Knowledge of REST APIs, API design principles, and integration techniques
- Experience working within Agile methodologies and using version control systems like GitHub or SVN
- Front-end development experience including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks is desirable
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in coding and documentation
