Store Manager – Pinochio Crepes & Waffles
Pinochio Crepes & Waffles is seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our team and oversee daily store operations.
The ideal candidate must have previous management experience in a dessert café, bakery, ice cream shop, crepe and waffle concept, or a similar food-service environment. You should be passionate about desserts, customer service, team leadership, and maintaining high standards for product quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- Lead, train, schedule, and motivate employees
- Ensure desserts are prepared and presented according to Pinochio standards
- Maintain excellent customer service and promptly resolve concerns
- Monitor inventory, place orders, and minimize product waste
- Ensure proper food handling, cleanliness, and health and safety compliance
- Manage opening and closing procedures
- Monitor employee performance, attendance, and productivity
- Support the achievement of sales and labour-cost targets
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
- Complete daily reports and communicate regularly with head office
Requirements:
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a dessert café, bakery, ice cream shop, or similar establishment is required
- Strong knowledge of dessert preparation, quality, portion control, and presentation
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing inventory, scheduling, labour, and food costs
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation is an asset
