Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate

Pivotal Staffing Solutions is currently hiring for a leading bakery manufacturing facility in Cambridge. We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate with hands on experience operating Raymond Reach and Counterbalance forklifts. Shift Schedule
Morning Shift 7.30 am to 3.30 pm
Afternoon Shift 3.30 pm to 11.30 pm
Night Shift 11.30 pm to 7.30 am
Job Responsibilities
- Receive and ship bakery products accurately and efficiently
- Operate Raymond Reach and Counterbalance forklifts safely
- Prepare package and stage materials for shipping and production
- Load unload move and store products within the warehouse
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments and resolve any discrepancies related to quantity quality or shipping documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize warehouse storage areas
- Prepare raw materials and supplies for the next production shift
- Support production operations as needed
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe shipping and receiving area
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and workplace safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification with experience operating Raymond Reach and Counterbalance forklifts
- One to two years of warehouse shipping receiving or material handling experience
- Previous experience in a GMP manufacturing environment such as food bakery pharmaceutical cosmetics or natural health products is considered an asset
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive warehouse duties
- Strong English communication skills with the ability to understand work instructions and safety labels
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks work independently and perform efficiently in a fast paced environment
