Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Busser/Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is vital in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food delivery, and supporting the service staff. Duties
- Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
- Assist servers by delivering food from the kitchen to guests efficiently and accurately
- Replenish supplies such as utensils, napkins, and condiments as needed
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or setup tasks when required
- Ensure cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping floors and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle guest requests courteously and promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to assist guests effectively
- Operate POS systems for order processing when necessary, including cash handling and Micros POS usage
- Follow food safety protocols during food handling and service to ensure guest safety
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Basic physical stamina for standing long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and moving quickly around the restaurant
- Friendly attitude with a team-oriented mindset
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or cashiering is a plus
- Hospitality or hotel experience, barista skills, or meal preparation background are advantageous but not mandatory
Pay: $18.25 per hour
