ProofLedger is an early-stage British Columbia software company. We give businesses something they don't realize they need until the worst possible day: a tamper-evident, independent record of who went through their doors and when. When there's an HR dispute, an insurance claim, or a compliance audit, most companies discover their access records are sitting on the same system the people in the dispute can edit. We're the locked box that sits outside all of that. After a record reaches us, nobody can quietly rewrite history.
We're small. We're new. The founder still answers the phone. That's exactly the point of this posting — we're hiring our founding field reps, and the people who plant their flag now will own territory and accounts that later hires will never get a shot at.
This is straight commission. There is no base salary. Read that twice.
We're telling you that up front because we respect your time and we only want to talk to people who hear "uncapped commission" and feel the opposite of nervous. If you need a guaranteed paycheck this month, this isn't your role, and that's completely okay. The part that actually matters: the compounding.
You don't just get paid once. You earn a commission on every client's first payment, AND you earn a residual on their monthly subscription for as long as that account stays active — month after month, on every client you've ever closed.
THAT MEANS EVERY DEAL YOU CLOSE TODAY KEEPS PAYING YOU NEXT MONTH, AND THE MONTH AFTER, AND THE MONTH AFTER THAT. YOUR INCOME DOESN'T RESET TO ZERO ON THE 1ST — IT STACKS. THE BOOK YOU BUILD IN MONTH ONE IS STILL PAYING YOU IN MONTH TWELVE, ON TOP OF EVERYTHING NEW YOU CLOSE.
A rep who simply hits our basic quota every month is, by month twelve, collecting their new commissions plus a residual base worth tens of thousands a year on its own — money that arrives whether they had a busy week or not. A strong rep builds that into a six-figure annual run-rate. You are not renting your income here. You are building an asset you own.
What the job actually is:
- It's field sales — door to door, business to business. You'll be walking into commercial buildings, warehouses, and offices, in person.
- You find your own clients. We don't hand you leads. Your territory is yours to work. The flip side: every client you find is yours, and so is the residual.
- You'll pitch operations managers, HR directors, and owners — practical people who care about protecting themselves from disputes and claims.
- You demo our platform (simple, runs off your phone), and when they're in, you send a payment link. You never touch our billing or banking — you close, we handle the rest.
- Quota to stay active is 5 closed accounts per month. That's the bar that keeps your territory and your residuals locked in.
Who actually wins here:
- You've done commission sales, field sales, or door-to-door before and you liked it.
- "No" doesn't rattle you. You know it's a numbers game and you play the numbers.
- You're self-managed. Nobody's going to wake you up — your territory and your hours are yours.
- You think in months and books of business, not in single paydays.
- Bonus if you know the Lower Mainland's commercial corridors well.
The honest deal on the table:
- Commission on every client's first payment, plus a lifetime monthly residual on every active account you close.
- Monthly performance bonuses once you push past quota.
- A reimbursement structure that covers your local business-licensing costs once you're producing.
- A clear path: our founding reps are first in line for leadership as we grow.
- The founder's direct line. You'll be trained and backed by the person who built this, not lost in a call center.
The fine print, because we don't hide it: This is a 1099-style independent contractor role. You set your own hours and run your own territory; you're responsible for your own taxes and expenses, and you'll need to hold a local business license (we help cover that once you're selling). Earnings are commission-based and depend entirely on your results and how long your accounts stay active — the figures above describe what consistent performance builds over time, not a guarantee. Some reps will build a serious book. Some won't close anything. Which one you are is genuinely up to you.
