Our Volleyball Operations Manager will oversee the logistical and administrative
functions of our rep sports teams, developmental leagues and programs and facilities.
They are responsible for coordinating and developing teams, supervising and hiring
coaches, administering team budgets and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
This person is responsible for growing and attracting new teams, growing sponsorships,
planning and hosting tournaments, managing coaches and contributing to our company
and city/area-specific marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Our Volleyball Operations Manager ensures that PVC Volleyball programs and rep
teams run efficiently, provide a high-quality experience for athletes, staff and spectators.
They would act as a link between coaches, facility staff, external vendors and
administration/Directors.
- Manage and Oversee Social Media input with Marketing Manager for
- teams/events
- Developing and executing marketing and promotional strategy.
- Coordinate, monitor and administrator seasonal and developmental program
- budgets.
- Maintaining equipment inventory, storage organization and distribution.
- In coordination with the Executive Director will schedule permits times for
- practices and programs
- Securing permits for facilities.
- Growing club by attracting new teams / players through local events, corporate
- recruitment, etc,
- Developing new league and event opportunities to serve the organization’s
- growing participation.
- Growing sponsorship program and executing existing contracts.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: 2 – 5+ years of experience in OVA and/or Sports Association in
- sports administration and athletic operations.
- Certifications: Valid First Aid/CPR certification. OVA coaching requirements.
- Key Skills: Strong financial acumen, excellent crisis management, exceptional
- communication abilities, excellent social media capabilities.
- Strong interest in running your own business.
- Knowledge and passion for volleyball
- Ability to deliver superior customer service and always maintain a positive
- attitude and outlook.
- Willingness and proven ability to work independently and with minor supervision.
- Capacity to manage multiple simultaneous priorities.
- Ability to travel with a valid driver’s license and your own car.
- Ability to work from home as this is a remote position
Pay: From $20,000.00 per year
