Aardvark Pavement Marking Services has over 20 years of experience painting lines in British Columbia from Victoria to the Alberta border. Offering a wide range of services varying from highway marking to parking lots. Capable of handling any job, any size, and anywhere!
The Position
We are in search of a reliable yard labourer who has basic mechanical experience. Successful candidate must be willing to travel out of town with our pavement marking crew when required. This position is temporary with the opportunity for further advancement to a permanent position.
What You're Expected To Do
This position requires many duties to be performed. This individual will be expected to work alongside our mechanic and Logistics / Fleet Coordinator Manager to complete daily maintenance tasks in the shop including:
- Fuel vehicles in the yard and order more fuel as required
- Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the shop and yard
- Maintains stencils as required
- Load paint pails
- Wash equipment/vehicles
- Loads and unloads supplies and equipment
- Performs minor safety and operational checks
- Vehicle mileage reports
- Shop inventory report
- Etc...
What We Are Looking For
- Class 5 or above driver's license, and insurable driver's abstract.
- Willingness to occasionally work out of town with our pavement marking crews (LOA provided)
- Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, clients, and the general public in a courteous, professional matter.
- Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform and follow established procedures and job tasks.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- A forklift ticket is an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $25.50-$28.00 per hour

- Driving Licence (required)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
