About Cuddles Learning
At Cuddles Learning, we help children develop future-ready skills through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. Our robotics program goes beyond simply building robots—we use robotics as a tool to develop problem-solving, logical thinking, creativity, and engineering skills.
Role
As a Robotics & Problem-Solving Instructor, you will inspire and educate children ages 6–12 through hands-on robotics, engineering, and problem-solving activities.

Students will work in small teams to assemble and operate the robot, understand basic mechanical concepts, and use their robot to complete problem-solving challenges.
As the robotics program develops, classes will transition to the VEX GO platform, introducing students to more structured robotics engineering, coding, sensors, automation, and increasingly complex real-world problem-solving challenges.
Our teaching approach follows a simple learning cycle:
Understand the Problem → Plan → Build → Test → Improve → Solve
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver engaging, hands-on robotics lessons for children ages 6–12.
- Guide students through robot building, operation, coding, and problem-solving challenges.
- Encourage students to think, experiment, troubleshoot, and improve their own solutions rather than simply giving them answers.
- Create a fun, supportive, and collaborative learning environment.
- Facilitate small-group activities and ensure every student has meaningful hands-on participation.
- Work with both introductory robotics kits and VEX GO equipment.
- Collaborate with our curriculum team to test, improve, and refine robotics lessons and challenges.
- Assist with robotics demo classes, workshops, and regular programs.
- Properly organize and care for robotics equipment after each class.
Qualifications
- Experience working with or teaching children, preferably ages 6–12.
- Interest or experience in robotics, engineering, coding, STEM, or maker education.
- Comfortable learning and working with different robotics platforms.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Patient and able to guide children through challenges without immediately providing the solution.
- Enthusiastic about hands-on learning, technology, and youth education.
- Experience with VEX GO, VEX IQ, LEGO robotics, Arduino, or similar platforms is an asset but not required.
- Education in Engineering, Computer Science, Education, Robotics, or a related field is an asset.

Our Philosophy
We don't just teach kids how to build robots. We teach them how to solve problems with robots.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
