Purpose of the role
Reporting to the Graphic Design Production Manager, the Retoucher is responsible for retouching campaign and e-commerce photography, as well as performing color correction on all images. As a member of our Studio Production team, they will ensure that all retouched images align with La Vie en Rose and Bikini Village brand guidelines and are delivered within established deadlines. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and has a strong understanding of the fashion and photography industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Retouch marketing campaign images while ensuring accurate product color consistency; provide support with retouching e-commerce photography as needed;
- Retouch creative product photography (without models);
- Retouch flat lay product photography (pinned, without models);
- Download, export, and organize images for retouching according to established processes;
- Print color proofs for vendors;
- Adjust image color and lighting using Capture One (image development);
- Apply optimal retouching techniques aligned with the artistic direction to deliver high quality visual content;
- Ensure a smooth production workflow by following established processes;
- Stay up to date with retouching techniques, production processes, and creative direction;
- Explore and implement artificial intelligence solutions to support photo retouching and automate certain tasks in order to improve efficiency and turnaround times;
- Support product color correction for images intended for e-commerce use.

Requirements
- 5 years of experience in commercial retouching;
- Previous experience in fashion and/or e-commerce;
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and image processing;
- Advanced knowledge of CaptureOne and color correction;
- Excellent understanding of photography and lighting (an asset);
- Experience working in a Mac environment;
- Experience using AI tools (an asset)
- Experience replacing products in campaign images when samples are missing during the shoot (an asset):
