Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Label Manufacturing Quality Control, Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our label products, managing accurate shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining efficient production workflows. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience in quality management, and familiarity with manufacturing operations to support our commitment to excellence.
Duties
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of labels using tools such as Slitter , Rewinder and inspection unit to verify dimensions and specifications.
- Perform detailed quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, deviations, and corrective actions taken.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming materials against purchase orders and preparing finished products for shipment.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of materials during shipping and receiving operations.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly and implement corrective measures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality assurance processes and manufacturing efficiency.
Experience
- Prior experience in shipping & Receiving and quality control within a manufacturing environment is required with a minimum of 3 years.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to label production is advantageous.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately for decision-making purposes.
- Experience with QA/QC procedures, documentation, and compliance standards is highly desirable.
- Basic understanding of shipping & receiving procedures within a manufacturing setting is mandatory. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to maintaining product excellence while supporting operational efficiency within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
